Our Commitment

Founded in 2000, JECACP is a non-profit organization based in Yaoundé, Cameroon, specializing in the promotion of Health, Education and Development-Oriented Projects within the framework of Poverty alleviation in Cameroon since its inception.

 

JECACP had been referenced by the United Nations in 2006 in the “Ten-year Review of the World Program of Action for Youth at the 60th Session of the General Assembly (ga60rtngoreps.pdf) & in 2007 for its programs against drug abuses, materialized the true aspiration of a young man, yet to graduate from the University in 1997, who had the dream of supporting communities across Cameroon, his motherland and beyond.

 

JECACP has grown to become a trusted and reliable organization taking its full share within the actions of the Civil Society, aiming at reducing the effect of poverty among the most vulnerable populations in Cameroon, while fostering essential projects and capabilities capable to drive economic changes both at local and regional levels.

JECACP in Action

Our Approach : Focusing on Proximity Social Actions

Our projects are crafted to address the pressing needs of the Cameroonian community we serve.

We aim to create long-lasting impact through mindful implementations. 

 

As a strategic arm of our organization, the Proximity Aid & Assistance Program (PAAP) was set out for providing tailored emergency solutions around a three-priority action plan including Health, Education & Development Projects.

Health Programme

Improving Lives

We have supported different health programs and launching more programs and healthcare projects in the near future for our community.

We understood access to good healthcare as a basic human need; therefore, we stand by the community to offer solutions that aim at improving the nation’s access to quality healthcare. 

​

Our projects specifically aim at overcoming the main challenges of limited or poor-quality infrastructures and services to align with international standards.

Educational Programme

Empowering Minds

Education is part of children basic rights. As a priority areas for action, our educational initiatives focus on offering programs and opportunities of equipping individuals with the necessary tools for crafting personal and collective success.

Our Books to Every Kids (BEK) program to create libraries in Public Schools since 2004 till date was one step towards a long-term solution.

​

Our educational initiatives focus on equipping our society with necessary education and skills for future success.

Community Programme

Creating Bonds

Our programs are mindfully designed to tackle the Major Cameroonian community issues spanning from early pregnancies in underage girls with consequential condition of Early motherhood, child education failure associated with early school drops, unavailability of essential medicines to the most of all, youth unemployment that foster the unfortunate existential conditions of poverty.

Youth Programme

Taking initiatives

JECACP is positioning as a nation’s platform for attracting investments from both local and foreign sources to support our community and youth, in creating more employment opportunities.

​

The programme target Cameroonian youth between 21 - 35 years old who are ambitious and driven to develop and prepare the Cameroonian national youth to achieve the goals of the country  vision.
